i realy like this modem, my isp wanted to charg me 6.00 a month to rent this, i got it cheap, ive ben using it fore months now and it works perfectly. i have centurylink and this is a verizon, but all i had to do to make it work was change one setting, i google it to find out how...

In comparison with new routers available in the market that most of them are included internal antenna, this modem/router is classically included an external antenna. That's all the con of this modem/router. However, in case of wireless technology, I found that this modem/router is the same as ATT 2WIRE 2701HG-B or Verizon Westell 7500 modem/routers and even better than some other wireless G routers. I luckily got this modem/router at very cheap price. After trying it out, I found its functions are much better than the combination of Siemens SpeedStream 4100 DSL modem and Netgear router. I think to myself, why I had to pay much money for one DSL modem and one router while this classical modem/router combo can provided all the best wire and wireless of DSL technology. Finally, I found that I'm lucky with purchasing this modem/router.

Got the initial on from Verizon, it gave me 3 years and was pretty decent, but 3 years... !!!, as for the replacement, once its not from verizon it seems like it maynot work.
